The old kitchen came out to bare wall. Stone counter went in on new cabinet bases and the vinyl plank went down through the whole room.

Questions

About remodeling

Can we live in the house during the work?
For a bathroom or a single room, yes. A kitchen is harder, because the water and the counter go out together. John tells you how many days you lose the room when he prices it.
Do you supply the tile and cabinets, or do we?
Either way works. Plenty of customers pick their own tile and fixtures and have John fit them. Tell him which you prefer and the estimate reflects it.
Do you do rental turnarounds?
Yes. Landlords call him between tenants for paint, flooring and repairs, and he works to the date the next tenant moves in.
Will you move a wall?
He will look at it. Whether a wall can come out depends on what is holding the roof up above it, and that gets answered on site, not over the phone.
